This is not a traditional photography workshop focused on camera settings or perfect shots.
Each photo shoot becomes a portal, a playground, a canvas —
a path to dharma, emotional intelligence, embodied expression, and sisterhood that mirrors you back to yourself.
You may choose to hold the camera, step in front of the lens, or be fully present beyond both.
There is no pressure to perform, pose, or prove anything.
What matters is that you let your heart lead the creation —
and allow yourself to be seen, felt, and reflected exactly as you are.

FRIDA KAHLO'S FLOW TO GLOW HEART EDITION, WHY?
Frida Kahlo’s energy weaves through this entire four-day experience.
She was one of the first women to turn her inner world into art—not to please, but to tell the truth. Through painting (and sometimes photography), Frida transformed pain, identity, nature, and culture into radical self-expression and empowerment. In her spirit, we create with photography instead of paint, using our bodies, emotions, Oaxaca’s land, and its living culture as our canvas. This gathering takes place in Oaxaca because this land holds her roots, her rebellion, her beauty—and continues to inspire women to create from authenticity, resilience, and heart-led power. Our word for this edition is "BRAVE".

Free surf and/or slow mornings to rest, integrate, journal, or simply be.
(Surf is always optional — you do you, boo.)
✨ Late Morning | around 11:11 am
2+ hours of indoor workshops — embodiment, soul work, creative direction, and guided practices.

✨ Midday | around 2:22 pm
2–3 hours of free integration time — beach, food, rest, journaling, nervous-system regulation, or a sacred siesta for body, mind, and soul ✨
✨ Sunset | around 4:44 pm
2+ hours of our photo shoot rituals, as the ocean, light, and landscape become our playgrounds.

The night before our retreat (Friday 30th), we’ll begin with a casual welcome dinner (optional but super recommended) and throughout the 4 days, we’ll likely gather 2–3 evenings for dinners or spontaneous moments — always guided by energy and desire, never obligation so we prioritize rest.

And closer to the date, I will also create our WhatsApp group to arrange all of our logistics and perhaps even some of you share transport from airport and or hotel rooms, etc.

WHEN - The night before our workshop officially starts, we'll get together and have a little welcome dinner. Please note, our workshops officially start the morning of the 31st of Jan and will end the sunset of the 3rd of Feb. Feel free to arrive and/or leave days before or after to hang 🇲🇽🤙

A sacred ritual, we combine the divine powers of intention and attention setting, prayer, reverence, and our courage to create. (Photography as a healing modality)
A tool to harvest mindfulness, to visualize that human you are becoming. (Photography as a tool to manifest your dream reality, embodiment )
A medium to connect with others(people, places and things), "key to connection". I love to call this "the state of wonder, becoming a tourist in your own home" (Photojournalism).
